Welcome to Oliver & Friends Retirement Fund. We’re a nonprofit / 501(c)(3) that helps senior shelter dogs find homes and get veterinarian care. Our mission is to help dogs while continuing the legacy of our best friend, Oliver. We partner directly with shelters, vets and dog owners.
How We Help
Working with Shelters
Senior dogs have a tougher time finding homes. That’s further complicated when they have preexisting health complications. We partner with shelters to sponsor senior dogs’ medical costs post-adoption so their families can focus on loving them and not stress about bills.
Working with Veterinarians
We partner with veterinarians to deliver us candidates to join the retirement fund. Usually, these are cases where a senior dog is diagnosed with a condition that leads to increased costs for medicine or treatment.
Working with Dog Owners
We also work directly with dog owners. If your senior dog’s medical costs have increased unexpectedly or you're struggling to pay for their care, we can help offset that cost. Get in touch & see how we can help. We’ll work directly with your veterinarian.
Who We Are
We’re a couple of dog lovers with a soft spot for senior pups. We’re looking to continue the legacy of our buddy, Oliver, who was a senior dog with congestive heart failure when we adopted him. The retirement fund is just getting started! We’re sponsoring one dog at a time and looking to grow our reach. We know how expensive it can be to care for a senior dog, especially one with a medical condition.
